This guiding principle has been an important component in our company philosophy since 1982. Furthermore, in order to optimally implement the EU ecological audit decree, the existing environmental management system following the Mannesmann model was expanded in 1995. With the stated objective: Environmental protection must be integrated into the company processes. We have been certified for the first time in 1996 and keep on developping continiously.

From the beginning, reduction of environmental pollution, was a focal point, for instance through longer product life cycles and resource-sparing production. As an example, today, we produce FCKW-free shock absorbers and use water enamel and bio-degradable oils.

Our environmental thinking is also put into action following production: As the world‘s largest clutch processing company 1055, we have produced over 2 million high quality clutch discs and cover assemblies from old parts since 1962.

Our workshop partners have also increasingly been applying the ZF Trading GmbH recycling concepts. We were especially happy to receive the environmental award from the city of Würzburg and can emphasize the following: In the future, we will also send employees every year to the „ecological training camp.
